750 F0/1 float valves Q?

 Sorry mods, I originally posted this question in the wrong place.

Has anyone tried the 750 F1 screened float valves in an earlier K carburetor? I like the little filter screens above the inlet and wondered if it's a do-able swap. I noticed the F1 and K6 use the same carb body number but the f has the screens on the fuel valve. 
 I'm going to buy them the next time I need any unless someone has already tried it and it didn't work.

I seem to recall seeing them in there on a k5 or k6 before but if so, who knows what had been swapped where.  Oddly enough, all the F0/F1 bikes I have worked with did have them despite not all having the same carb numbers. Pretty neat part but I feel like if any gunk or grit made it that far in the fuel system, maybe it would be better off passing on through.
If it works good, it looks good...

 I have a bike that's a habitual float valve seeper. I've swapped the needle and seat and float a couple times.
  The painter got sand in the tank when he sandblasted the old paint off. I clean the petcock screen often and flushed/washed/blew the tank out several times. There shouldn't be anything left in the tank to make it to the carb and yet it still acts up. I also have done the clear tube method which works ok.
 If it matters, it's always #1. I've considered commissioning another set of K0 carbs that I have. That might be a good test.
