Topic: Possible to use stock speedometer with magnetic speedo sensor?

I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find the answer to my question, hoping someone here may be able to help? Is it possible to utilize the original speedometer with a magnetic speedo sensor? I’ve looked for conversion kits with no luck.

If this is possible, where should I start? I want to keep the original speedo and tach, tach is installed and works great. We just replaced the front end with a gsxr600 front end and no longer have the original speedo sensor that was on the original wheel.

With a little brain work you can probably figure out a way to swap out the internals.

Build a digital speedo/ tach within the stock housing and use a stock face plate.

No straight forward go of it but I’m sure it can be done.
