CB550F Restoration
« on: December 02, 2022, 11:29:51 AM »
Getting there finally.

1977 CB550F

I've had this in storage for 16 Years.
The Bike started life in Chicago then went onto York PA. I purchased it in 2006 and bought it into Ontario Canada.
As I'm retired (or suppose to be) now there is time.
As you can see the bike is in good shape with 13000 Miles on it.
It will be on road in the sprigs as soon as the Snow & Ice has gone.
I have Two (2) Brand new Complete Header and Muffler Systems for it that I picked up over the years.... not sure about installing one  and putting an aftermarket on instead.

Great looking project.  You have the OEM exhaust system? If yes, I vote for that.

The 550F is a fun bike and yours looks good.  Have fun bringing it back to life over the winter.

That is one sweet '77!
I have a Candy Anteres Red '77 CB400F with 701 original miles (North American version), they'd look pretty good sitting side by side in my garage .
