Aloha,

I'm Mike in Hawaii.   I recently moved here from California and brought with me a 1975 CB400F project bike.  I have owned the bike for 6 years but only started working on it since relocating to Hawaii.   It pretty much needs everything worked on, but I'm retired and have the time.

Previous bikes include 1970 CL350 and a 1972 CB500.

I'm looking forward to getting my bike running and riding around Oahu.  I think it will take me 6-8 months at this point.

Parts (like tires) are crazy expensive here.  If you are thinking of relocating to Hawaii, buy everything you can before moving here.

Welcome from Texas!

I have fond memories of a vacation in Oahu and renting a Honda, riding around the gorgeous island twice and getting 7 tickets!  [cop said go home and dont come back!]

Stayed in Waikiki and visited Diamondhead, Hanauma Bay [great snorkling], Waimea Falls [cliff diving] and North Shore - Sunset Beach [waves so big, afraid to swim there!]

What a beautiful Island.
