Forwarded the vendors suspicious email to the ebay american customer service rep.
Unfortunately they don't have the ability to stop the order from going through. The vendor has a positive reputation at the german field office. So will see if the items arrive within 30 days. If not, i can get my money back then.
Silver lining, after re measuring the crankcase bores and crank journals, i was able to find enough bearings to fill the build.
Though 3 shells shy of a full conrod set.
I just got a full set of Honda 750 bearings via South Sound Honda. It took a couple (3?) weeks, but they got here.
When i checked with the fellas there in august - the 550 bearings were unavailable. Same with the honda shop in the next county over.
Last summer was still in the log jam of ports unloading containers so supply chain was still fubared. Try again.
