Terry, I forgot your Z1000A with good power.

Bracing the frame should have been a good improvement on my K6 if I could have seen the future when I restored it with bare frame.

I have read about stock  swingarms to be rather OK, it is the frame around its bolt that need to be reinforced as a first measure.
Frontend feels light in higher speeds though.

Thanks Per, my gold CB750 was a magnificent handler, the guy who built it has built a lot of race bikes over the years and knows his sh1t, and told me that he didn't think the stock swingarm needed bracing, unlike the tubular swingarms on Kawasaki's etc. Here's a link to the Ebay auction for the frame bracing kit, it's very thin (16 gauge?) steel, but that's good, I'll have to break out my TIG welder to install it, I reckon I'd be melting holes everywhere with my MIG. ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

That kit look good. Lots of work and testing avoided with all bits done. Assembly "only".
1 sold must be you, Terry?

Yep, I’ve seen frames that guys have braced with whatever steel they had lying around in their garages, and wasn’t impressed but this looks like a good kit that won’t add much weight to the Kawasaki frame. The good thing is that this is the frame that the PO chopped up to build a rigid drag bike from, so I’ve already spent a lot of time welding in frame sections that he’d chopped off and threw away so I don’t feel bad about welding more sections into it. ;D

This is very old info but I came upon it while researching bracing on the 750

https://motochassis.com/Articles/Frame.mod/KawaMods.htm

That kit looks nice, saves a lot of time doing CAD (cardboard aided design) 😂
