 My friend that builds race cars had a goal of making his chassis as stiff as possible. He did, but I think they learned the cars needed some flex to work their best.

If anyone needs this ‘77 cb750K engine mount bracket (the one that appears not where and no part number) I do have one..... no idea where it came from!

I sold the 77 basically in pieces, I told the buyer, don’t lose the mounts

If anyone needs this ‘77 cb750K engine mount bracket (the one that appears not where and no part number) I do have one..... no idea where it came from!

I bought a K7 from an estate (the widow) in Colorado Springs, circa 2007, and rebuilt it: the engine had been hit on the right side at the points cover by her husband's car in their garage, and sat for 20+ years after because it sheared off the spark advancer (basically it ruined the crankshaft) without damaging the engine cases. When I pulled that engine I took pictures of everything so I could document the "rebuild" to the guy who bought it later, but it did NOT have that fancy left lower bracket. It DID have a bent frame, so I had to strip the whole thing and then use hydraulics to straighten it ('twas a gamble, if it didn't work I was going to be out $500 for the bike), and the left-side frame was bent outward (toward the left) at that mount, about 3/4". That frame, though, was just like the '76F1 that I also had at the time, which also doesn't have that fancy thing! It was pretty simple to straighten, in the end, and worked out with wheels in align, and the works.

It had a Vetter, so I had a soft spot for it...
It had a build date of 10/76 on the steering head, making it a very early K7.

So, I don't have any clues about this, either!

So I’m guessing the 77/78k shared the same rake angle and longer swingarm with the 76F1…?

Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

got it.....yep...to me, the fact it's not on the parts list is weird.....

the '76 750A is the closest I've seen...but still one sided...
that is not it...


already posted that. The 750A is one sided....the '77K is a two sided bracket....

Checked the frame plate on my K7 today (with the “no part number” bracket). March 1977 build date, cb750K-2725117.

Hmm, now that's interesting.
I wonder if some of the 77K frames were made in the same factory as the A bikes.

Looks like some ‘77 frames have the lug too! Spotted this one today on FB and it clearly shows the “regular” mount.

The part number you showed is 50356-393-010 for the Right Rear Engine hanger (item 8 from the fiche), the part number of the “BRKT C. FR ENG HGR” (item 7 on fiche) is 50351-393-000

New CB750 K6 Anteres Red, to replace the totaled K5, I sold this K6 at 45k in 1983, I had heavily modified it, many great memories on it and have missed it greatly.....

#7 is still not it.....it is ONE -SIDED.....can't you see that?

It didn't have the front stay....but, nevermind, starting in 1977 for the K's , they went to a single stay....

Both the 1977 (right) and 1978 (left) cb750K fenders had the single stay (no front) fenders.

For what its worth, my 1977 K7 750 has 9/76 build date. It has the "no number" engine mount
