It depends on how late head.
Verify the head marking between 2-3 inlet side. 410 is F2-F3 and differ.

Head marked 300 or 392 between 2-3 fits direct.

Really late as F2-F3 head (410) another thing when used on K-cylinder. It might need something more for oil returns that differ in head. Described on this forum somewhere. Or maybe worse the other way around, F2-F3 cylinder and earlier head.

One difference is when using later cylinder with wider oil return holes. Then better with a wider return holes gasket.

I have drilled my oil holes in all my heads (K2,K6,K7 marked 300-392) with a 9.5mm drill to ensure flow. Heavy duty studs are 8mm where stock only where 6mm with less restriction to oil flow.
I removed oil orifice before to ensure no burrs there after clean and blow.

The other at least 9mm drill. I had one head that was hard to remove when alu had married the studs when it had deformed under nuts.

Check if MLS gasket rivets interfere with the mating surface, not possible to seal.
I have hammered them flat and drilled dents in head and cylinder where they hit. I think I used a 10mm drill and drilled lightly on both sides, enough for the flat rivet.

I believe the early cylinder that is lacking the large seal washers is preferred when using the larger bores.
CycleX mentions the MLS gaskets seem to work well without the large seals. He has a few good tips and tricks in the info sections, you just need to search a bit to find them.

Hi Guys thank you for your input my head has the markings a x within a circle and the number 3 and that is it Cycle x does say it will work with the early MLS gasket, but I always like a few opinions from knowledgeable people with years of hands-on experience.
   Cheers Tony
