Flange Driven Seal
« on: January 21, 2023, 09:08:27 AM »
Another seemingly clueless question... - Do I need to put grease inside this seal that is then attached to the flange?
Thankful for everyone on this forum. Grateful to continue to learn so much.

Seals should always be lubed. Oil on ones keeping oil inside, grease if greased inside. But it looks like the hub will be empty, so I would lube it with grease, packing the cavity as well as on the lip.

Okay awesome! I wasn't going to but thought I'd ask because it couldn't hurt and only help. Thank you!
