going from 4 into 2 exhaust to 4 into 1

I have pretty old, beat up 4 into 2 exhaust on my stock 1975 CB550k1.
I was looking to buy the Delkevic 4into1 exhaust.
I have stock air box.
Is there any reason I shouldn't do this?
I cant really afford the 4 into 4.
Will I need to make any changes, or regret this decision?

i'd say go for it !    you may have to re jet for the new exhaust

+1 on the Delkevic. The entire system weighed less than just one of the nasty rusted out stock exhausts on my 750. Without any changes in jetting, the bike runs great. You will not regret

I bought just the Delkevic header and I run a 18" quiet core muffler I got from Lossa Engineering (looks exactly like the a Cone Engineering).  Could not be more happy with that decision, sounds amazing and obviously saves a TON of weight.  I just don't really care for the look of the delkevic mufflers.  Whole setup was under $400

Consider the
Hindle from Ripple Rock Racers, many consider it a better 4 into 1 system than the Delkevic.

Consider the
Hindle from Ripple Rock Racers, many consider it a better 4 into 1 system than the Delkevic.

You can’t use the center stand and it’s twice as much.

If I were to ever switch from no number 4-4 I think the Delkevik would be it, looks clean.

I bought the Delkevic 4 into 1, it's next on my list to install on my '73 750.

Dino put one on his 750
