Beasley Composites / BB Racing LLC
« on: February 04, 2023, 12:37:20 AM »
Hello fellow SOHC mammals.
Has someone here tried and even managed to get in contact with Beasley Composites?
I have tried and tried but they refuse to answer me anything, not even a simple "How much this and this cost?" question.
A local company has a container leaving from Fort Lauderdale (I think?) and if I could get the parts in it I could save quite a lot of money.
Running out of time soon as this situation came to me as a surprise. Friends are ordering car spares etc. and they told me to get my parts ordered ASAP.

Perhaps someone living close could give them a call? I would really appreciate it.
I suppose I could try calling them but it might be a bit difficult with my Finnish accent and the time difference.
If there is someone reading this who could help, let me know and I'll post the part #'s I would like to find out a price and availability for.

 Juha

Never heard of them. Where are they and what do they make/do, Bodywork?

I know Airtech Streamlining does in San Diego.

I just tried calling Beasley's numbers and the phones are not working so they may have shut the doors.

The website says prices are being worked on as another clue......

Yes, bodywork for racebikes. Only one I have found who makes 82/83 GS 1100 E stuff.

That's what I was kinda afraid of... thank you for taking the time to make a call!
https://www.bbracingllc.com/ still lists Beasley stuff, could you phone them and ask about #119 seat tail section and #124 tank shell?
Price and how long it takes to get them (if available) are my main concerns.
Suzuki GS 1100 82/83 but I suppose the numbers I took from Beasley site tell them all the necessary.

I phoned them and got an answering machine so maybe they are still in business. I didn't leave a message.

Emailed a few times, sent a message on Instagram, did what I can. Nothing.
There are a few too many companies like this. It's not like my English is too hard to understand? Right?

"Service 7 days a week"

"Finding a way to make a decent living while helping others who share my passion of Drag Racing is one of the best things I've ever done. I've been extremely fortunate to partner with some of the best companies on the planet, and together, we're Keeping Racers In The Race."

"Product listings does not indicate items are In Stock. Just that they're available to order. If you are in a hurry, please call, text, email, message or on Social Media"

What a fuc..ng joke.

My understanding is that Beasley is closed down. The rumor is that DME Racing bought the molds and eventually may begin producing some goods. I doubt this will happen anytime soon.

What exactly are you looking for Leino??

Ok, those quotes were from BBRacingLLC who lists all Beasley products and wouldn't bother to answer anything. They even removed my public question on Instagram without a comment.

Beasley used to make a tank shell and a rear fairing to match for the 82/83 GS 1100E and as far as I can tell no one else makes them. I could make a mold but find it a bit too time consuming and smelly to just make parts for myself.

A good friend of mine is selling this as a package deal on Facebook.  Take a good look at all the components.  He wants $450usd for everything. Let me know and I'll figure a way to connect the two of you.

Ok, thanks! Is there a chance to get a side view of the tank shell?

It's the right stuff for sure. I can get an answer on shipping Monday if he could wait a couple of days.
This local Harley shop has another container leaving to Finland soon.
