  My departed Honda guru Tom used to roller start his (now mine) 1124 drag bike. They had a pair of warehouse rollers and a car with an open differential. I'm not sure what happened when he went bar hopping on it.

Getting closer to start up.

Borescope shows the cylinder walls look pretty good in my opinion. Definitely pop-up pistons with valve cut outs. Compression test came up with 125 across-the-board plus or -5. That’s with the cheap gauge and kick liver only. Also the motor has not run in over 10 years. So I’m feeling pretty good about getting this started. I have pictures but I’ll figure that out tomorrow.

 I finally pulled the cylinder off of my old 1124 for repair and discovered that a piston was ruined, that answers several questions I had about it being haphazardly re-assembled.  That cylinder didn't show anything during rotation.
