1976 CB750F Restoration
« on: February 08, 2023, 07:21:37 PM »
Hello everyone!

I am hoping to find recommendations for a good detail oriented restoration shop on the east coast of the USA. I’m north east, but will get the bike where I need to for the right shop.

I did find a shop; however, they didn’t know that it wasn’t until 77 that the super sport engine became black and could not tell me other details when conversing with them. NOT picking on them.

any recommendations? I am looking for mostly stock. The only things I would change would be things like a duel front disc conversion

I’m in Ontario Canada, so can’t be much help with any recommendations. Why not just do it yourself? Buy Mark Paris’ book and a good Manual and get into it. You’ll get lots of encouragement and good advice here.
If you don’t have the skills, or confidence, to do your own restoration work you might be best to purchase a fully restored machine. I sold a very nice “F” a few years ago for $7,000 ($5,600 US). If you pay shop rates to do all the work I did to mine, you will spend way too much......Good luck with your project.

I live in Massachusetts and started doing my own work in 1999 because no one else would. Try using Google and see what turns up but I wouldn't expect much.
You only go around once in life so it might as well be on a motorcycle.

Where in the northeast are you located? I'm in southern NH. I'll send you a PM.
