Float bowl overflow is from the tube in the float bowls. Fuel is fed via tw “tees” between the carbs (replace the “0” rings), and each carb has a vent pipe from the float bowls (up).

so the larger fittings are feeds and the two in the very center of the 4 are vents?
also should the T's be loose? it has a lot of play, i assume there are seals that have probably gone bad?

They will rotate up and down while mounted between the carbs with some resistance. Each side of the tee has 2 o-rings so 4 per tee and 2 tee's make for a total of 8. Do you have a Clymers or other type of manual yet ?

Correct on all counts. Replace the fuel feed “0” rings.

I can do you a copy of all the genuine honda workshop manual on a dvd as pdf pages, i aint good enough to make it searchable though.
Goes all the way from CB750 to the F2 and some parts books about $8 plus shipping from UK
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!
