Howdy from Texas.
« on: March 16, 2023, 06:27:06 AM »
Just picked up a CB750 with 7xxx miles on it.
Looks like it should as a garage stored bike.

Seems I've got a problem, since in under 2 years I've gone from one Vespa in a box, to having a number of bikes :)

1957 Vespa
1970 Honda CT70
1977 Honda 750k
1980 Honda CM400A
1982 Suzuki GS450GA
2002 Honda Reflex

To think, 2 years ago, I only had the Vespa.

Welcome from Colorado! I'll bet your garage is warmer than mine...I only have 3 bikes in the garage. :)

That doesn't count the ones in the bike shed, however...

...nor the 5 engines in the garage...

Wow, looks unmolested!
I rebuilt one just like that to sell to a local rider. When he rode it to his garage (which he rented from his landlord) his landlord was right there. As soon as he saw it, he offered the owner more than he'd paid to me (by a LOT), so he sold it on the spot, owned it about 4 hours. Turns out his landlord had one just like it in college, and decided he wanted another one like it. So, I had to rebuild another bike for the first guy, a 1975 F0, instead.
:)
