+10C today in March in Canada. Got the carbs ultrasonically cleaned a few days ago. Have been soaking and heating the old carb boots in brake fluid to soften them up. Today I reinstalled the carbs.
With a temporary gas source, and jumper cables to a good battery, I'll see if it'll fire up.
Still have lots to do, like clean the gas tank which will require electrolysis, rebuild the petcock, and attend to the front brake system. Then there's checking/setting valve lash and timing.
On a 50 year old bike, the coils, plug cables and caps, rectifier and regulator may need replacing. Then there's points and condenser. 
It's my fun time.

Looking good!  I wouldnt be so quick to replace the coil and plug wires, they are known to rarely fail. Plug caps are a good idea, snip the ends of the wires a little to get a good connection.

Be sure to get Honda quality points and condensers or you could get caught "chasing your tail"

Thanks Steve-o. Good to know that coils and plug wires are reliable. Just mentioned them as possible problems.

On the other cb750 I've owned, I installed HondaMan's hybrid ignition that used the points as mini relay switches and was very pleased with the improvement in performance. (Actually HondaMan installed it himself!) I have another project bike, a 1971 Honda CL350 on which I installed a modern reg/rectifier and full electronic ignition, and am happy with it. (Charlie's Place) I'll wait and see what to do with this 750.

Wow, there's no snow/ice by your garage! Does it face south, or something?
