If you can find good gasoline within bike range. You  can ride your bike to fill it up. Back home and prepare for next ride to good stuff for your bike.

Can be a good reason for rides.

I can ride my 94' Kawasaki ZG 1000 A9 Concours Super Tanker to the gas station and fill it up. It holds 7.5 gallons so I can fill another bike and still have at least 2.5 gallons left. That's enough to fill a Sportster.
My buddy says that I should install an electric fuel pump, valve and hose in the fairing pocket so I can rescue Magna's, Rebel's and Sportster's.

I agree Per.
Back in the late 70s when I rode my K6 cross country 5 times, I wanted to find a 6 gallon tank to put on it.

Fuse inside headlight bucket.

Got new levers for clutch and hand brake today.

Clutch is a pig with stiff  springs to avoid slip.

It feels better for a finger or 2. Brake too.
5-6 months waiting for test ride

Newer bikes have adjustable alternatives.

These will due, better than before and look better.

I hope clutch will feel a little bit lighter with that shape of the lever.

Like mine. I bought my set from a private person that sold them as Emgo parts.

I had to compare too see how much better. Closer to grip. Stock taped under.

Frequent use of clutch will feel better for my office left fingers.
The brake has a better grip too.

EMGO brand - China....but hard to screw up an aluminum lever!

They look good and work fine.
Normal use will work.
I'm eager to test how easier the stiff clutch will feel. Plus the braking power.

Another thing if bike will be dropped.
The lever must go instead of the switch housing or mc if lever hits the ground.

My K2 has only cheap aftermarket stock style levers. Stock Honda is thicker and cost more than double.

Update:
The dog leg type of levers are very comfortable. Have used them for a while now.

Ordered for my K2 too plus 2 extra sets plus blank points covers from vintagecb750.

That clutch lever is an excellent option, to keep things matching, if you use a more modern master cylinder or perhaps the Nissin Retro Master Cylinder...they all seem to use a dog leg lever

That might be an option for the weak braking single disc K2.  If finding a good looking one cheap

Adjusted the fork by removing washers under the fork caps.
Progressive fork springs from Wirth.

3.65 mm washers did raise the bike, less sag.
Result: Harder ride, feeling of higher center of gravity.

No washers, much better stance and handle corners better.
This should be adjustable without taking things apart.

Test ride made me to ride wilder than usual on a country road surrounded by dense forest. 
Carbs got bigger mains to compensate for the correct and leaner needles. Fun response.
I have to watch out for the horns not growing too much when riding the K6.

K&N pod filters trickier to fasten after 9 years.
The clamps glides off, going backwards with the filter.

Easier with a distance ring keeping hose clamp in place. I should have done that from the very beginning when pods were new.

This has been a problem the last years, becoming worse.

A cable tie used as a spacer helped.
Carbs look dirty when zoomed in, need a clean

I have new filters found on sale as spares
The K&N filters cost a lot more today than 9 years ago.




I might find out a slightly wider and thicker plastic ring alternative. Clamp can be better seated. Filters stays where they are, so OK
