I've always wondered why I shouldn't just buy one of these sets for a 1979-1980 750f or a 81'-82' 750c on ebay, they are Galfer brand. The front ends of both bikes are very similar stock set ups to SOHC. 104 bucks free delivery.

We used one of those for the rear brake switch when we delinked the 90' Moto Guzzi 1000 Le Mans. It works out great.

Bit late to help many, but HEL do ready make sets at £80 a set. https://www.helperformance.com/motorcycle

PeWe, this would suit you because their upper hose is EU length, although you can ask for a customised set with a longer upper hose.

My local bike shop ordered F1 dual disc Galfer lines for me. I heard him repeatedly say yes to their questions but they were too short on the top hose and the lowers were made for the stock steel tubing which I didn't want.
He couldn't do a return because black was a special order color. Anyway, I kept them and paid his cost. I eventually used all three hoses.
Moral of the story, have your measurements at hand when you call.

Thank you very much for your concern. ;)
I have recently purchased ss brake lines.

Found when searched and ordered the circlip (a hen tooth) that holds clutch basket  on K6 and up.

When looking thru their shop I found brake line sets in custom lenghts easy to order what needed.

Upper is otherwise the usual problem.
My low bars have 300mm upper lenght, center- center.
310mm should be better.
This shop measure a little bit different.
Got what I needed for now and next build.

UPDATE:

Contacted Apex as a few people on this post recommended.  Raymond Chan was very accommodating...$85 shipped, US.  Should arrive soon enough.

I started this thread to help a friend get a SS replacement set for his 550K2 which the PO had changed the bars way back when (80's) to where the upper hose was like 18 inches long...and also 40+ years old rubber.  I went through slingshot with my bikes some years ago which is no longer an option.

As always, thanks for the info and input all!

Looks good, we have Apex lines on over half of our bikes. Raymond is great to work with.
