With winter getting close I have the GL back on the lift after a 700 mile break-in period. Going to finish it up with new tires, fork seals and polishing the fork legs.

YEAH !  8)

I purchased the Bridgestone as I liked them on the other GW I sold. Thanks for the tire recommendations.

Bridgestone's are very good tires, have them on my K4.

New seals in the forks. Cleaning and polishing the lowers. Pic is of the first pass with the 320. Next will be either the 400 or 600. Then will remove them to the buffer.

Hunting and the holidays with family slowed me down a bit. Not complaining at all. However, it’s sure nice to get back in the shop again! Got the forks all polished up and very happy with the results. Used Aircraft stripper to get the clear off. Then went with 320 & 600 paper. Finished up with the buffer and white rouge. I never put clear back on so I can touch it up whenever needed.
