Wanted to give a little feedback on my carb project... I finally got it back together, synced the carbs and got a short ride in...  I am very pleased so far with the way the bike is now performing. It idles nicely. Accelerates smoothly and pulls hard. I will have more input after I get to ride more but from what I have experienced so far I would recommend the Yamiya kit. I am going to be anxious to see how the plugs are going to look after some riding. I also did another thing that improved the rideability - I rerouted the throttle cable the way it was from the factory. This has reduced some binding and the twist force necessary. Throttle is very smooth now. I was and wasn't looking forward to getting into this project. I have read and heard so much about how problematic the carbs and carb sync can be. I'll keep my fingers crossed and knock on wood but it went better than I expected.

Good to hear the update.

Mine gave me a heck of a time getting dialed in aswell but once sorted, totally worth it.

I had later carbs on the bike originally and the K0 carbs certainly pack a better punch.

Good job!
Mostly, the carbs seem to be mysterious to those who didn't grow up with them. That can make them frustrating to work on.

Some younger folks today don’t really know what a carburetor is!
