Power plug in for my electronic ignition
« on: April 05, 2023, 08:46:45 AM »
Building a piggy back for electronic ignition. I plan on tapping into the rear brake light for power to my electronic ignition. Any tips on making the plug connector? I plan on using connectors from my old ignition switch.

Why not use the Blk/Wht wire from your RH switch that powers the coils?

You can get new connectors from VintageConnections.com.
Are you planning on killing the Ignition by turning off the headlight?

Most use the black power lead at rear brake switch which is on with the Key switch, not the headlight. Correct?

This guy shows his pigtail he made up at @ 8 minutes in. With this you can unplug it and put points plate back in if needed
