Not all Chinese parts are junk. They can build good quality stuff but they are masterful at squeezing profit out of whatever they build. They can build to a quality level of fit and finish, it is up to the company ordering to have the quality parameters set for operational requirements, tolerances, and construction to product quality components. The mechanical and electrical specs have to be there. The testing procedures have to be there, the inspection of produced goods have to be there…
Honda has to sample the produced parts and ensure they are meeting the specs they gave before accepting the parts and putting them in their distribution chain to the dealers and customers.
So, don’t give up hope that you are getting a bad part because it is coming from China. Don’t assume a part from Japan is always going to be better…you have better odds of that being true, but not a given.
I don’t like buying stuff made from China, they aren’t a friend and they do make a lot of crappy junk.
