RIMS RIMS RIMS 1980 CB650 C

Hi guys,

I've been rebuilding a 1980 CB560C for a while and I'd like to get rid of the Mag wheels and get a set of chrome Spoked ones for it. The problem that Im having is that I cant find a set of chrome 40 spoke wheels for it in the same size as the mags. When I got the bike, it had brand new tires on it, so idealy I'd like to just pick up a set of the rims the same size, lace them up with a set of hubs I would pick up at a bike yard, and swap over the tires.

 The rim sizes are as follows"
Front- 19 X 2.15
Rear- 16 x 2.5

Anyone know a good place that I could get a set cheap?
Any info is appreciated. Thanks,

The standards had skokes   but the rear was a 17.   I only have one set and dad wants them.

Your rear ComStar is 16"?  My '79 650 has a 17" rear ComStar.

I have a brand new polished/anodized 2.15 x 19 Excel alloy rim available. You can have it for 1/2 price.

Excel offers one of the nicest and strongest alloy rims you can buy.

You would also find a match for the front from Buchanans or East Coast Wheels.

I've got a 17" rear spoked rim off an '82 CB650 sitting in my backyard collecting dust, with a Bridgestone Spitfire that has less than 500 miles on it.  Unfortunately the tire has a puncture in the tread (not the sidewall, so it can be easily repaired), the spokes on it are pretty well toast and the rim ain't too pretty, but you can have it the rim and tire if you want it for $15 plus shipping...  I can take pics of it in the backyard if you want.  Let me know!

79 650's had a 17" comstar.     Only year.   Put one on my 80.

Jimmy,

I would be interested in your wheel, but the only delema is that I cant find a 16 X 2.50 on the website in the same model. Do you have any pics of the rim? If so could you send a couple shots of it to me at namba1032@yahoo.com ?
