Clutch plates for 1977 CB750A Hondamatic

Is it still possible to get new fiber clutch plates for the 750 Hondamatic?
1969 GL175 twin
1970 CB750 K0
1971 CL350
1975 CB750F1
1977 CB750F2
1977 CB750A (original condition)
1977 CB750A (836 Cafe Racer)
1978 CB750F3

I seem to remember someone finding clutch plates from another application that would work, but I can't find the information now.

Thanks mate, I just found out that they are the same friction plates as in the Honda 2 speed auto cars from the 70's.

cb750a 77, cbr900rr 93 with auto clutch

Riding tip " turn in late, feeling great.  Turn in early,  feeling squirrely "

Yep, engine out, split the cases. Worst part of the ordeal is scraping off the old gaskets IMHO.

Yep, engine out, split the cases. Worst part of the ordeal is scraping off the old gaskets IMHO.

25.60 for 20 plates is impossible. Maybe he threw in some weed for the 20.   ;D

Don't confuse the Civic car friction and steel discs with the Hondamatic ones. The car ones have had many changes in the friction material as the car transmissions have improved materials. A tranny rebuilder should be a source for the friction and steels. Neal Chance transmissions did the modifying of my 750A torque converter. Yes, I know that I'm a year late. The information should be useful going forward.
