When I got my new 75 Goldwing I locked the keys in the little box in the tank, which as we all know was not a tank but a cover. I had to take a lot of stuff apart to get them back out.

I once bolted the rest of a 750 top end together and was gathering up my tools for the night, when I found the front camchain slipper sitting under the front of the engine.

I didn't have two of them.

Rebuilt a 1960 Triumph T110 650cc top end and turned round to find 2 wrist pin circlips on the gatepost, bugger it time
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!
