Clubfoot removal Q?

 I have a nice clubfoot swingarm I got from Bill B. a few years back. It's made for struts, but my plan is to remove the clubfoot and make it a true swingarm.
  Is it as simple as cutting off the arm, machining out the threaded holes to fit Kibblewhite bronze bushings, and either recess the bushings or narrow the arm to allow for the bronze flanges?
 I just bought a NOS collar and have a nice stock bolt with automotive grease zerks.
  Doc says I still have a few weeks before I can get in the shop and wrestle parts but I might be able to get this one done.

I tried to look up Clubfoot swingarm, only saw one thread of one but the pictures were on a hosting site that had their name plastered over the swingarm and dark lighting made it all but impossible to see.
I was away from 750s from 83 until 2018 so I missed a lot of goodies during that time.
Got good pictures??

 The one with the extra leg. Bottom right, it just has threads to bolt tightly to the frame rather than swing.
 I believe the secret is the frame and bolt squeezes to the collar and the bushings and swingarm pivot freely on it.
 If I am correct, the flanges on the bronze bushings replace the stock cupped washers so I need to just be sure to replicate the stock width including the bushing flanges. Right now, the swingarm fits tightly with no flanges or washers.
  I guess what I'm wondering is, will the collar be ok unsupported in the middle?

 I got the new collar and bronze bushings, polished a through bolt and fitted it up. It appears it will be plenty solid in the large OD swingarm tube. What's left is to determine the proper amount of stick-out of the collar so the frame can tighten onto it and not allow the swingarm to move back and forth. I have a good stock swingarm to measure or maybe take along to the machine shop.
