Remember Me Or Has It Been To Long?
________________________________________________________________________

Hi Bill..

How are things with you?  I checked your profile..seems like you were pretty active up to about 2020.  That doesn't seem so long..does it?  I'm not surprised to see a lot of the older SOHC4 members not posting much during the pandemic years from around 2020 to the present (seems to me to be just getting back to relative normal now).

I'm just a little older than you (remember our chats about our service years in So. Carolina back it the 60's?).  I also haven't been riding much at all over the past few years BTW.  But I check the SOHC4 Forums just about every day..to see what's happening..what tidbits of info are being talked about.

I guess that a lot of my continued interest in this site is due to nostalgic stuff..which is why I keep coming back.  How about you? what have you been up to lately? What's happening with your bikes lately?  Looking forward to your further posts..

Cheers..

Hi, Bill!
Do you still have any of those fabulous big-block MOPARs?
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

Hi, Bill!
Do you still have any of those fabulous big-block MOPARs?
Hey Guy! No, Sure Don't. The Last One, Was A '69 Plymouth GTX & Next To It, Was My '07 Charger R/T (5.7L HEMI). Then, I Got A Mopar, I'd Wanted, Since They Introduced It And That Was A 2002 Durango. BUT, Back A Few Months Ago. It Got Totaled. My Stepson Was Working 12hr Shifts And On The Way Back From Work, He Hadn't Had As Much Rest As He Thought He Did And He Fell Asleep & Totaled The Durango By Taking On Some Big Oak Trees. He Came Out Okay, But That Ride Was Mangled. Now, I've Got 2 More (An '02 360)Durango & An '04 5.7L HEMI Durango. The '02 Motor' Not Good, But The '04's Is. But The '04 Needs Basically A Front Cap. Working On Getting The '04 Up & Ready For The Road.

How Have You Been?  Good, I Hope.

It's so nice to see you here, Bill!  I don't post anywhere near as often, either, but I do try to check in once a day to see what's going on, and seeing a post from you is exactly the kind of thing I'm hoping for every time I check.  I hope you're doing well!  I think the last time we messaged my kids were both still in the single digits.  They're now 13 and 15!

Yes, I Was Working On Getting Together, What I Needed, To Try To Build A Jawa 250, To Be Like My Dad Built Once. And I Also Got To Make It Street Legal & Ride It To School, When I Was A
Senior In High School & With His, I Blew The Wheels Off Of A Few Honda CL72 Scramblers. They Were Not Happy! Anyway, I Had Hopes Of Building It, While He Was Still Here, But Things Happened, Time Flew & Then He Was Gone & That Jawa Is Still Waiting To Get The Build. At Least I've Got A Good Motor, That Folks From Here, Helped Me Get, It, To Where I Could Meet Up & Get The Motor Home. I REALLY Hope To Get That Build Done, In Respect For My Dad AND To Those Who Came Up With The Plan To Get The Motor To Where We Could Meet Up  & I Could Get It Here, After A Nice Visit & Meal At The Cracker Barrel In West Memphis.  I'll Never Forget The Effort To Help Me Out. AWESOME!!!!!!!

Cheers..
