Andrews A cam

Hi.
Does Any one have info on what the valve lash should be on a Andrews A cam?

New CB750 K5 Planet Blue, demise by ex cousin in law at 9,000 miles...
New CB750 K6 Anteres Red, to replace the totaled K5, I sold this K6 at 45k in 1983, I had heavily modified it, many great memories on it and have missed it greatly.....

This is odd.. specs are here but are based on duration .05". I wonder if that should read .05mm, which would make a lot more sense to me  http://www.satanicmechanic.org/andrewscam.shtml

I've got that same came in an 836 but I am embarrassed that I can't remember exactly the lash. I used to have the paperwork somewhere. I know the gaps are larger then stock. Seems like they were .004 inches. Will see if I can locate the paperwork.

Must be at 0.05" lift  (1.25mm).
Cams are also often timed at 0.04" (1mm) lift.
Higher numbers at 0.04 than 0.05" lift.

In/Ex open/close at x degrees at 0.05" lift.

Andrews doesnt have 750 specs on their website however,550 and 650 specs are .004 thousandths of an inch

About valve lash.
Compare with the array of Megacycle cams of various profiles.

Andrews A is a modest cam so 0.004" (0.1mm) would be OK for In and Ex.

I have used 0.10/0.15mm for several cams, (except DP315). Even with Megacycle 125-75 that produced well on dyno last year.

0.1/0.1mm on my stock K2 with K7 cam.
I do not trust the very tight stock lash.

I remember when I bought my mild Andrews cam it was new and sitting in a nice glass showcase at a dealer who knew Honda's well and I paid either 40 or $45.00 for it back in the early to mid 80's.

I emailed Andrews and the sent the specs for my Twin cam CB1100
