I have a 1975 Cb550 K1.

When the headlight is turned on, the two front turn signals also light up.

Is there anything on the rear of the bike that is supposed to light up also?

Rear facing running lights in most places have to be red. Rear amber lights are turn only.

The reason I ask is because it didnt pass inspection because I was told there is supposed to be a running light on the rear.

Tag light qualifies as rear running light. Need a different inspector, this one clearly is applying modern rules to vintage bikes. Rear brake light also lights up showing running lamp. So, your 8nsoector has a screw loose. Bike not running doesn't require all lamps required for running. Park lights are a different concept...

The rear has a duplo lamp, the 5 watt should light with ignition on (if you do not have a lights on/off switch) en the 21 watt works when braking.

Correct. The rear tail light is dual filament, one for running light and the other filament lights up brighter when brake is applied. Definitely need a tail light! I have considered converting the rear turn signals to dual filament with red lenses just in case the single rear tail light bulb fails.

 Yes, a taillight.

TAILIGHT comes on with headlamp BRAKELIGHT comes on with brakes, 3 wires to rear light
Brown = TAILIGHT
Green  = Ground
Green/yellow = Brakelight.

Buld is a 5/21 w 12volt staggered pin

When tail light stopped working I usually adjusted brake light to be lit as tail light.

Replaced bulb asap

I know a guy that’s so nervous about a burnt out tail light, he lightly silicones a spare inside his tail light lens! I can usually spot it when we’re stopping, even in day light. I just don’t ride at night.
