CB750 K4 Normal ? green and red wires not connected
« on: April 30, 2023, 07:34:56 PM »
Hello, I have recently purchased a CB750 K4 1974 and under the left side cover these two wires are not connected.  Is this normal ?  Do you know what they go to ?  Thanks for the help !

The Green wire is the factory test ground ground. It isn't connected to anything now.
The Red wire should be connected to the battery (+) terminal. In the OEM wire harness there is a short red (thick) wire that connects to the (+) terminal of the battery (a lug) and the opposite end connects to the (+) terminal of the starter solenoid. The little Red wire is then connected to a female Red one like it, which goes to the keyswitch.
