76 Honda CB 750 Super Sport

I have 2 of these bikes having purchased a new 1 in 1976. Both are fully restored and would suit a Honda show room in 1976. I've been a member for a good number of years. I am having wiring issues upon replacing the RH switch. Of course the wiring colours are different. So far I've got the yellow and red to it's matching y/r. I have the black and red to same. However the new switch has a light green and red, a black and white, a black and a brown and white. What do they connect to ??? it's driving me mad as I cannot find an answer after hours and hours of searching. My switch is the one that has the kill switch, off/on and start button. Welcome aboard the forum from just north of Boston(I looked at your other posts and you haven't introduced yourself and your bike in the new members section yet)
Is this the same bike you posted on in 2018 when you joined the forum and didn't reply back to the posts to say if you got it sorted?

I'm assuming from the wire colors you bought an aftermarket switch assembly??

Is your bike in this question a USA market bike or an Australian market bike?(makes a difference in wiring schematics)

New CB750 K6 Anteres Red, to replace the totaled K5, I sold this K6 at 45k in 1983, I had heavily modified it, many great memories on it and have missed it greatly.....

Is the switch in your other bike functional? If so, I'd simply use it as a pattern. Once upon a time I purchased a "replacement" switch only to learn it was NOT a replacement due to a wiring issue. I gave in and got a genuine part. Problem solved.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

The starter switch button on the 750f has an extra function that shuts off the headlight when pressed to start so there is a different wire scheme there then earlier bikes to work around also.

Thank you for your replies. I must have ovelokked replying to my last post. I had to get an auto electrician in the end. I don't know how he fixed it at the end of the day. My second bike here is imported from the USA as was the other.
Where can I purchase an origigal spec switch as I would prefer that? Do I understand that it as amayyer of trial and error . Many thanks.

I've tried to complete the info on my persoanal info but what I know about computers I could write on the back of a stamp with a felt pen.I don't know what most of it means.

Yes I think some of the wires on the right hand control have to be able to route all the way down to the black plastic triangle junction box.

Post a picture of your switch as you said it has 'on-off'.
Is that the headlight on off?
1976 didn't have an on off for the headlight,  but the 1975 did have the on off headlight switch.

Have you tried at your local Honda shop? They are available at the dealers here in the states.
CMS also has them available.

35130-377-670 is the part number

I didn't look up the part numbers before assuming..(bad on me) that because of K5 having had the on off headlight switch and the K6 having no on off that it was the same way on the 75F but you are indeed correct as the 75F uses the same part number as the 76F USA models, no on off headlight switch.

For years, until I replaced all the wiring, I had wished it had the on/off switch! Damned weak charging systems  ::)

 I used a k4 switch on the F1 that I recently sold. I prefer control of the headlight, especially after I put a Euro style LED in the headlight bulbs park lamp.

Gentleman it got the better of me in the end so I had to get a sparky in. He sorted it in 30 minutes. I'll post the wiring as soon as I unwrap it to confirm. The aftermarket loom is also about 3 inches too short(putting it inside the handlebar) so they all had to be lengthened. I don't have a headlight at the moment so if anyone knows the solution to that , that would be great.
I got eveything else in place just matching wire colours. Couldn't get the starter though. I'll unwrap today and post the answer but 2 wires from the switch had to be joined to the black.

 This is the 77F diagram. Some of the colors are difficult to see. So, still no starter or headlight?

The Brown-White should mate to a Brown-White in the headlight bucket, enroute to the center fuse of the fusebox (which is under the bike's left side cover). Is there a loose Brown-White still in the headlight, coming from the back of the bike? It might possibly be a Brown-Red wire instead, as Honda sometimes altered this circuit's wire colors with no warning after 1975. This wire comes from the right handlebar to the middle fuse of the fuseblock, and then goes back to the headlight bucket to power the headlight via the left-side Hi/Lo switch.
