Reading a review it sounds like a real deal adventure bike and not an ice cream shop poser. Twin cylinder and 105 horses sounds pretty fun.  Did you take it for a spin John ?

Fascinating fuel tanks, twin plastic containers hanging down low, behind the crash bars (black). Lots of neat features...... makes my KLR650 seem ancient.

Husqvarna (Huskvarna) is a swedish city very close another city Jönköping in southern Sweden beside lake Vättern. 
A highway (E4) going south pass thru there so I have driven there many times.

So the bikes of today might have KTM influences, maybe parts too.

All the Husqvarna dirt only  bikes(motocross and enduro) are really just rebranded KTM's now.  KTM has also purchased the Gas Gas company and same deal with them.  So now, quite a bit less real choices in the dirt bike market.  Kinda sad.  Husqy had a fairly legendary reputation in the dirt bike world.

I have colleagues that are very pleased with their rather new KTM street/adventure bikes.

One guy has an Aprilia Falco 1000 year 2000.
KTM parts can be used, the originally weak starter gear assembly for much lower price than Aprilia.

Husky also made Jonsered chain saws. I have a quite large old one, real beast and very reliable.

They made sewing machines too. In fact the Husky automatic motor cycle transmission of the late 70's was conceived and developed in the sewing machine division.

i loved the 70s big two stroke off road bikes although i always struggled to start them .
i think ktm only bought the motorcycle side of the business , not sure if the other parts of the company are still in Sweden .

Husky has some very interesting history. Started out in the 1600's as a gun manufacturer.. Sounds like maybe the company has been around longer then the USA has been formed  https://www.husqvarna.com/us/discover/history/

Yes, weapons too.
I friend on my street in the 70's borrowed his fathers Huskvarna mod 25 9mm pistol and shot some where he felt for it. It was a military use pistol.
No deaths!

My friend and I used to shoot a used Huskvarna 9mm pistol from their family gun shop. I don't remember the model number but it was really accurate and easy to shoot. It looked like it had a Luger grip with a P38 barrel and slide. We used to shoot ketchup packets at 50'.
