Okay, so I've been the owner of this bike - frame number SH624 - since 1978, and I knew the previous owner, who had it from new - Paul from Kew, London who unfortunately I've lost touch with. I haven't ridden the bike for 10 years and sad to say it was looking pretty sorry for itself. So last week I started a full engine-out rebuild, and the frame has gone off for powder coating, handlebars and brightwork off for chrome plating and tank and seat unit, side panels and fairing for a respray. I can't wait to ride it again, hopefully in a couple of months' time. The engine is stock apart from electronic ignition & K&N air filters so should be totally reliable. I'll post some photos once I have anything worth showing but for now, anyone else with a Seeley please get in touch as I'd like to see what else is out there.
