What do you guys think?
« on: March 12, 2007, 11:31:26 PM »
95 horses at the rear wheel?  Sheesh!

Looks pretty clean to me...  Just got my tax refund back and I'm looking for more power than my little 650 can give me!  ;D

While I've never had one, I've always liked that one. Thought the look was really cool too. 8)
I did check out a regular XS1100 once. Really liked it, lots of power, nice ride just couldn't afford it
at the time. I'd say go for it myself. You don't see them much any more. I'm sure you'll here
a difference of opinion though.  Don't go by what I say though, there are probably some out
there who've actually had some experience with them. ;)

                                                                 Later on, Bill :) ;)

Looks nice, but make sure it runs ok.
Friend of mine has one, but not the midnight special.
His has 55,000 miles on it, but now has a broken frame behind the
rear shock.
good luck. These are nice bikes.

Hmmmm. Dropped because of "one too many Guiness". Makes you wonder what else the poor bike has had to suffer through.

show me some reports on horsepower for that model and i MIGHT believe they come anywhere close to 95 at the rear wheel.

about the bike in general... make some cool mods and it would be pretty sweet.  those bars definitely HAVE TO GO.

I didn't believe it either Heffay, so I checked out Bikez.com and they confirmed the 95HP thing.

And the bars would be the FIRST thing to go.  The gold everything would be next  ;D

These bikes pull pretty good. Hung a sidecar on one and it had no problems.

I don't think you'll like the shaft drive on the 1100. It has to much lash
built in, I rode one back in 80 or so and that's the first thing I picked up on
not liking about it.
