XDA event, Virginia Motorsports Park.
« on: June 03, 2023, 09:52:12 pm »
Came up to Dinwiddie,  Virginia to compete in several classes at the XDA race series. I entered the mono shock bike in street ET to get some much needed seat time.  They did time runs today and will start first round eliminations in the morning. I definitely need to take this bike out more because I had a hard time making solid passes and my reaction times were horrible. I'm hoping tomorrow will bring better results but I'm okay with the 10.28 ET for now.

Best for quick reactions and good time slips tomorrow Frank! 10.28 is a respectable timeslip

Mark.
Thanks for stopping by yesterday.  You caught me on the downside of running 3 classes. I was beat down and trying to recuperate.  Hope to see you again the next time we return.

Hope you did well Frank. That 10.28 is a damn good start. Seat time and break in will get you close to 9's  ;)

See you at Bonneville.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Jerry,

I doubt I'll get the current engine package to take the bike into the 9's without a power adder. My small town machinist did a great job on the head but it'll never flow enough to produce raw horsepower necessary to drop into the 9 second zone. I'll be more than satisfied if I can dip into the 10 teens at some point. I know I can probably see a mid 9 second pass on nitrous oxide but I'm not ready to push it that hard until I get my best ET on all motor. It would be nice to have one of those Cycle Exchange big port heads to play with but since I don't play the lottery and have no rich benefactors,  9's on motor simply will not happen in my future. 😁
