78 CB750 K Headlight (BULB) Swap
« on: November 09, 2022, 06:28:37 AM »
Hi all, I promised, I searched the forum threads before posting! I could not find what I was looking for.

I am looking for stock sized, LED headlight replacement options. Does not have to be plug and play, I have been searching all over, and do not feel comfortable or trust the products I am finding. I was wondering if this wonderful community would mind sending me pictures and links to any headlights that you installed, loved and would recommend? I would really appreciate any expertise given.

Welcome aboard.
Are you looking to put it in a stock headlight bucket? Do you have a H4 bulb headlight already and just want a KED bulb?(I highly recommend this if you are keeping your bike stock)
Or are you looking for something else???

This LED H4 bulb will fit the 750 headlight if you have a H4 reflector headlight already.

H4 7" headlight reflector to replace the stock sealed beam that came in the 750s.

Thanks, all! The light and lens are one option.

I am looking for a LED self contained unit that replaces the existing large bulb and fit in the stock housing. I would prefer to put in something like the link below for extra light! As an added bonus, I believe it should add more room for the jumble of wiring behind the light too.

Hey, that's not a jumble of wiring, that's a genuine Honda-designed wiring harness! ;) :D

kmhixson, did you put this bulb in?
I just put the same bulb in my 77. I hooked up the amber halo with a jumper wire from the low beam power. Looks great but the headlight pulsed with the turn signal so I disconnected the halo. The headlight still pulses with the turn signal.
I'll ask the brain trust here.
