Best electronic ignition for 1976 CB550F?

Several years ago I rebuilt a 550 and upgraded to dynatek DS1-2. Is this still a good choice with stock coils and wires?

the one sold by honda man works  great on my 750 k6  .   easy to install .

Red, if you have the newer version of the Dyna S, you should be OK. Please post a pic or two of your ignition.

   I installed a dyna on my 76 F before I parted with it, it installed quickly and worked without problems. But I've used hondaman's ignition upgrade as well, and either are perfectly acceptable. Both are practically a "set it and forget it affair."

I guess the cheap units I posted here earlier today are same stuff

There is another thread about these that was onging in January.
Cheap ignitions from US sellers.

Dyna type coils from China.
I think Terry has tried them.
I have not built the bike jet + 1 spare if any of my Dyna-S should fail.

Parts in blue boxes with Dynatak printed cost much more.
I do not know if quality are the same, or same probably Chinese manufaturer.

   I have had one on my cb400f for years now, it works great,  I check my points at the beginning of each season. It literally takes 5 minutes, haven't had to adjust them in over 3 yrs.

Hi Scott yes I still have Dash.  Getting ready to sell him though.  Want another bike?  I want Dash to go to an SOHC member.
