Pdf to early carb swap
« on: June 13, 2023, 09:12:26 AM »
I restored a 77K and sold it to a friend. He wants to switch to the earlier carbs from a 74-76. Besides getting the correct intake boots, what else is involved. we are at sea level so wondering about jets and clip setting
on needle also

You'll need the earlier cables too.
Jetting should be the same as on the earlier carbs. 105 main and 40 slows.

If it's a 550, you'll need the earlier manifolds, too.
