Anyone in the SoCal who's interested in wrenching?
« on: June 19, 2023, 06:30:48 PM »
I have a 1975 CB750 which needs to be teared down and refresh my engine block. I have spare bottom end which has the same year proper gears to swap. I will need to get the gasket kit and a few parts to make sure my 750 is in working order once back together. We can tear it down at my place or yours. I have tools and the space work on bike but no lifts. So it's all done ground level. So my 750 has a small oil leak head gasket. Typical issue of 750. Leak at the drive gear and a bent fork shifting into 2nd gear. This is massive job and days of work. Looking for a second pair hands and eyes. Let me know anyone is interested?  I'm sure no one is going to reply. My back up is Moto Republic in Eagle Rock. Also Moto Republic is an awesome DIY bike shop with a few tech guys but by no means a CB expert. You pay by month there and is very fairly reasonable.
