Cb550 Brake Pivot Shaft

To remove the brake pivot shaft on a 78 550 does the swing arm have to come off?

No necessarily but the wheel, shockers and other bits do if you dont as it has to be moved a long way up from memory, easier to remove pivot bolt
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).
