Clickbait title I know! So rebuilt the top end engine, smoking a lot on the first couple rides including from the oil in the tank after about 30 mins of city driving… did some research on here last night and although the videos were down there was a lot of talk of too high an idle causing overheating… so I’ve dialed mine back to see if that changes anything.
Then today I ran it for about 10 minutes to see if it’d smoke and it seemed okay… then I noticed the nut and stud on the number 4 cylinder were wet looking, and looking closer you can see a sort of bubbling of a liquid… haven’t been able to find any threads about something similar, any ideas what would cause this? It’s torqued to spec I checked it again today, and that’s the stud with the knock pin so no o rings or anything…
