I was charged 1 hour for the weld at $130 per hour.  The rest of the cost was from the machine shop.  The total was under $400.  I have to go back out there and pick up a fixture that the machinist made to get the shaft in the right position.  The welder told me that the fixture was most of the cost from the machine shop and since I paid for it then I should have it.  Overall I am very pleased with the work.  It was a quick turn around and cost less than I expected.  I will post a picture of the fixture once I get it.  Probably late next week or so.

The service they provided was top-notch;even going as far as building a fixture to exactly line-up the shaft to have the welder set it up for a precision job.  ;)

It sounds twice as high as I was thinking….Oh wait everything is twice as high now…

Looks good….Post a picture of your fixture to locate the hole or shaft…I can only see what I’d do, but I like how others tackle the same..
