2nd re-introduction
« on: July 08, 2023, 07:48:32 PM »
Hello friends. CB750's can get into ones head, eh?

My experience with them was a 1975 Planet Blue purchased from my brother in law and which I toured around the US on 9 years ago; a 1973 Brown "great deal" offering on FB but it had to be picked up immediately and it was after a blizzard last February, and had issues more than I cared for; and a couple of days ago, this 1974 Boss Maroon Metallic.

The original owner drove it for 23K miles, and when he moved from Toronto to his new address, he put the motorcycle into the walk out basement of his new home, where it was stored for over 30 years.

It is complete and great shape for its age. Not showroom at all because it had been ridden for some miles. It needs a bit of work, but stuff that is within the scope of my limited abilities. Hopefully I haven't just jinx it.

I'll start a build thread.

I'm loving my small collection of bikes: 1981 BMW R100 that I've owned for about 30 years and road licensed, 1971 CL350 running well, 1974 CB450 with a carb issue (one slide does not close all the way), and now a 1974 CB750. I think I'm done!
