G'day everyone,
I've been a member on here for many years as I was once elbow deep in my build but had to stop for a few years due to a divorce. Now I've found myself again and feeling like I'm back on my feet I want to once and for all finish my 1975 CB400F supersport project(8 years in the making).
I live in Townsville, North Queensland so we have nothing up here for parts, but will be going to Toowoomba region for work for 2 months and plan on using my weekends to look for a few parts (front brake calliper, possible fork stanchions). I am going to bring my fork stanchions down with me and get them rechromed in Brisbane if I can't find good replacement for the right price.
Anyway fellas, any good advice would be really appreciated.

cheers, JP.

the biggest and oldest wreckers in melbourne ( Vic Motorcycle Wreckers ) just closed its doors. i just happened to drop in on the last day of the clearout. the owner had been trying to sell the business as a going concern or a while and had no takers, he just closed up and sold off the forks and wheels to one guy, pretty much everything else went in the skip to go to the metal recyclers.
not really anything there that was of interest to us as antique enthusiasts but a hell of a shame
i blame Terry

Yeah ok thanks fellas, worth asking about anyway. Shame about that Vic wreckers though, same thing happened to the only motorcycle wreckers we had here in Townsville a few years ago, although I was lucky enough to get another cb400f engine off him 2 weeks before he closed up shop.
Thanks for replying.
