Do you Have to replace them in a 750 if swapping rods?

Do you order stocker honda bolts, or do you order aftermarket? if Aftermarket, who?

I would if instaling NEW rods or if it was a high hp high rev motor I'd use something equivalent to ARP, maybe Carillo. There's even a proper way to torque them that involves measuring bolt stretch, but for my plain 750 rebuild I'm not even installing new rod bearings.

It's it's a stock build/freshen-up, then run the stockers. If you are going to pump more displacement or turn higher rpms than stock, then a bolt up-grade was recommended by many. Give MRieck a PM in case he doesn't see this post. I remember him telling me there is a stock late-model bolt (from the F2) that is longer and carries a heavier torque rating. He could also give you an idea of available aftermarket options. I've looked at my favorite site and www.Dynoman.net does not list the bolts.

Good luck with the project.
