Did anyone watch the Sonoma race? Gaige won again on the Vance and Hines bike when Matt Smith's bike failed to start for the final. I think even Gaige was disappointed.
It was cool in the all bike qualifying/shootout show when Andrew showed a transmission out for a first gear change and mentioned later adding a tooth to the rear sprocket when they got a headwind. There was a stubborn bearing and some interesting use of multiple plastic dead blow hammers. It netted a 1.02 60' time.

Earlier, in the Mission shootout Matt Smith was beat by his wife Angie, he was torqued. Said something on TV about being tired of all the crying when she loses and only cuts a good light when she races him. Couch time for Matt. At the end after not racing in the final Matt mentioned a sensor that keeps failing and maybe he needs a different brand of them. I hope it wasn't a Denso, a guy can't afford wife and sponsor trouble.
