Thank You
« on: August 20, 2023, 12:19:50 PM »
Wanted to thank the responding members regarding my brake rebuild problem. Fixed it this morning, and the rear brake now functions better than ever during my 5 years ownership. I was a mental health professional, not a bike mechanic. Been riding 55 years, but I am perfectly capable of doing something stupid every now and again. In any case, a little gratitude never hurts. Thanks!

You are very welcome, some things only make sense after being explained, others are easy and the odd one impossible
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Your welcome and now your a previous mental health professional and a bike mechanic  :) With old bikes it will always be some little or big issue to resolve, if you own the bike long enough.
Common sense.....isn't so common!

Sometimes I wish I skipped the first part, and got good at the second part.

As a bike mechanic you frequently feel like you need a mental health proffesional!

You just need to go for a ride more often...... 8)

All questions will give answers that many will find when searching for similar problems.

Some threads widens up in  other discussions close related or not so lots of experiences will be written.
