K7 airbox 1977 CB750
« on: August 31, 2023, 09:34:05 AM »
Dumbest question of the year: Is this the bolt(s), if removed, that will allow the bottom half of the airbox to separate? The horizontal one of course. I'm suffering from CRS right now

I think there is a couple vertical bolts to release the bottom of the box and filter from the top of the box(while it hangs there)

Of course there are. Are these the bolts? Unlike earlier 750K's, the '77 has no wing nuts underneath that are obvious for removing the bottom half

Yes, loosen the vertical bolts, the nut is recessed into the bottom of the filter box.  They may fall out once you loosen the bolt enough.

Yes, of course! Thanks. I forgot the nuts on the bottom are recessed.
