Thank you for all the replies so far and sorry I posted in the wrong place I tried just a minute after I posted it to figure out how to move it myself but am new to this type of thing I have never had any type of social media or been a member of anything other than eBay sending an email is just about it for me, I had finally figured out how to introduce myself after looking through the forum for a couple of weeks and I didn’t realize when I started to post the question about wheel and tire size that I was still in the introduction page , I am building this bike to ride and as I had mentioned earlier it came with a set of the black comcast style mags on it probably from something like a 1980 750 would have come with, it has a 19” tir on front and a 16” rear, but I also have a stock 1978 cb750 A that I got as a parts bike and it has the original silver mags on it with a 19” front and a 17” rear, both bikes have old tires on them and I have been trying to figure out how to convert the old sizes to the modern metric equivalent I think iv got it figured out if I decided to go with the 17” rear it crossed over to a 130-80 17 or a 130-90-17 I think one is just a little taller, the 16” that is on the bike now looks pretty good but for handling and just all around riding is there a benefit in going to a taller 17” wheel and tire, I found a set of Michelin commander 2s for a pretty good deal in both 16”&17” and with a matching 19 for the front, would they be an all around good tire for the 750, just looks like they’re selling point was mostly for Harley cruisers, Thanks again,
