It can be done but unless you are racing or have oodles of cash spare i dont see the point
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

Cognito Moto offers a complete wheel or a hub that's machined for disc brakes and space correctly but as mentioned above it is quite pricey

CycleX also used to (maybe still do) sell a set up that worked like that.  Seems like it would be a huge weight penalty to have a good brake on the rear where it will only ever be 30% of your stopping power

Yes, but with this one,you keep the oem hub...
